The history of the Golden Green Hotel Group starts with purchasing the Beachhotel in Noordwijk. But this is just one of the activities of the covering holding, which is owned by De Waardzicht Groep.

De Waardzicht Groep originates from the horticultural company 'De Klaver'. In the seventies and eighties this company evolved through trade and investments in The Netherlands and Africa into Cor van Duijn Beheer B.V. (and was sold in 1989 to the Shell Beheer Groep).

De Waardzicht Groep are part of, besides the Golden Green Hotels, the following divisions:

• Waardzicht Projecten en beheer: real estate advice and investments in The Netherlands.
• Waardzicht International: real estate advice and investments in Africa.
