The hotels of the Golden Green Hotel Groep are being managed from the ideas that in the Netherlands there is a lot to win regarding the ambiance and service in hotels. The starting point for the current hotelgroup was in 1989 with the acquisition and management of the Beach Hotel Noordwijk.

You can book rooms and appartments through the booking site Hotel Travel International. Conference rooms can be reserved directly by the hotel of your choice.

Broad formula

Since 2005 Golden Green Hotels offers servies in 4* hotels and 3* hotels by introducing in a new seperate wing the Tulip Inn formula; in Leiden and in Zoetermeer. Moreover since 2007 these two hotels offer luxury business suites.

The Golden Green Hotel Group is a part of Waardzicht Groep.

History

The first purchase was the Beachhotel Noordwijk in 1989. After a thorough renovation, a different management strategy and the efforts of the Van Duijn family the hotel made better profits. It was sold in 1994.

Golden Tulip Leiden, like the Beachhotel, did not gain optimal profits. That was the reason in 1992 to buy it: the challenge of making something better was our goal. Setting course and making a company healthy are two important motives of the group.

From two hotels to a chain, it went almost 'by itself'. In 1995 the Hotel Noordzee in Noordwijk was bought, and in 1997 the current Golden Tulip Zoetermeer Centre.
